This is Our Story
The vision and goal: Well, the goal is easy... it's always been to breed elite, foundation cattle. From our goal, THIS IS where the love for the junior livestock industry and the desire to create a potent genetic base within the seed stock business merged. From there, we began building a cowherd that would meet the needs of the purebred producer while still striving to raise the kind of cattle that can perform on the highest stages. The junior livestock industry provided countless opportunities for John and I.
From our core values to life-long memories, all stem from those experiences that shaped us into who we are today. Red Brangus cattle have been apart of our ranch from the beginning and for as long as we can remember we've ran red angus bulls on our cowherd. We have been fortunate to have sold progeny and successfully exhibited Red Brangus cattle throughout the United States.
How it started.
Our daughter Madison was the driving force for our push in the Red Angus breed. When it was time for her to show, she landed on that breed and here we are. Her goals have always been lofty... and at the time it was to exhibit and be competitive at Denver, Louisville and all the national shows both near and far.
Madison purchased her first red angus heifer and as a family we haven't looked back since. An elite red angus cowherd was then built from Madison's initial purchase.
As previously stated, we never just wanted to "show" cattle, they would all be retained in the herd and expected to perform at a high level. Madison's desire to compete on a big stage with a Red Angus heifer would ultimately be the start for foundation donors that have become the cornerstone of our herd. In 2022, we acquired the Las Rojas herd... a substantial decision that we knew was the right one.
This purchase has allowed us to accelerate our goals. We look forward to continuing to breed cutting edge and genetically progressive foundation cattle for a wide clientele base.
